Privacy, plainly.

We delete your lease as soon as the reading is finished. We don’t ask you to make an account. We don’t profile you across the web. The whole point of LeaseLens is to read one document and then forget it.

The short version

• No account. You don’t sign up. We use a temporary browser cookie so the site can tell your reading apart from someone else’s on the same computer — nothing more.
• Your lease PDF is deleted right after the reading. Usually within 60 seconds of upload. Not stored, not backed up to cold storage, not given to anyone.
• Your lease is never used to train anyone’s products. It’s read once to produce your analysis, and then it’s gone.
• No resale. We have nothing to sell. We don’t share your reading or your email with anyone except the small number of service providers we need to actually deliver the product to you.

Exactly what we receive

When you use LeaseLens we receive:

• The lease document you upload. Held in private storage just long enough to read it and produce your analysis. Then deleted.
• An email address — only if you complete checkout. Collected as part of your payment receipt. We use it only to send you the link to your reading.
• A shortened version of your IP address. Used to prevent abuse. Discarded automatically within an hour.
• Anonymous service metrics. Timestamps and whether the reading succeeded. No lease content. Used to keep an eye on quality and cost.

What we keep, and for how long

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete the information we hold on you, and to object to how we use it. Because we don’t use accounts and don’t profile you, there’s very little to access — usually just a payment record and your reading. Email privacy@leaselens.app with the link to your reading and we’ll act within 30 days. These rights apply to you regardless of where you live, including under GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA, and PIPEDA.

Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies so the site can remember which reading is yours during your visit, and so checkout works. We don’t use advertising cookies, we don’t use third-party analytics, and we don’t track you across other websites.

Changes to this policy

We’ll update the “last updated” date and — for material changes — surface a notice on the homepage. We won’t retroactively reduce your privacy.
